These earrings are an Olubunmi Creations design. This pair is made with non tarnish copper and with cowrie shells which are a symbol of wealth. This gorgeous pair of earrings is a gorgeous complement to any outfit. It is made with African glass beads (light blue one) and the moon is made of Lapis Lazuli stone. This inspired set came from the shiny particles in the Lapis Lazuli, and it just made me think of a shiny blue moon. The earrings are handmade with wirework links, and glass beads.

This beautiful set of earrings comes with a fusion of African handmade beads and Asian beads.  I got the upper pink beads in a breakfast at the New York Women’s Foundation.  African women were brought to the US to let us know how by them learning and teaching each other how to make beaded jewelry, they were able to overcome many obstacles in their lives. I loved the beads so much that I wanted to share them with the world.  I found these Asian beads, and their beauty just compliments the handmade bead.

Some say that Yemaya Asesu is Olokun’s wife.  She is definitely a very powerful road of Yemaya. Her colors inspired this set which are light blues and white. The glory beads are all unique just like the sea. The white natural coral beads give it the beautiful touch and adds to the beauty that comes from the ocean which captures many. It is said that the riches of the world are unknown, because we do not know what lies at the bottom of the sea.  Maferefun to the Orisha of the Oceans, Maferefun to Yemonja!  This set was created with waves of inspiration.  The glory beads are all different with different markings, just like the sea.  The sea is constant but never the same.  The blue large beads are lapiz lazuli beads, and the white large beads are coral beads.  The smaller beads are all glass beads, and the beauty of these beads lie in how these beads together make such a beautiful and elegant set.

I love sitting and looking at the sea.  No matter how much you try, no two waves are exactly the same. When I found these beads, I just had to have them as they convey the same message.  The markings on each of the beads is different and yet beautiful.  I then sat down to create something unique and yet beautiful.
